How it works
Two tokens per real match. Trades fill the pot. The final whistle decides who takes it — and how it gets paid.
Pick a side
Buy the token of the team or fighter you back before kickoff.
The pot fills
1.5% of every trade on both sides drops into the event chest.
Winner takes it
The pot is airdropped to winner holders and burns winner supply.
Where the 2.5% goes
| Recipient | Of volume | Of the fee | What for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Event pot | 1.50% | 60% | Builds the chest the winning side takes |
| Meteora protocol | 0.50% | 20% | Fixed DBC protocol fee |
| Duel creator | 0.30% | 12% | Claimable by whoever created the duel |
| Platform | 0.20% | 8% | Keeps the keeper and oracle running |
| Total per trade | 2.50% | 100% | Charged in SOL on buys and sells |
Bigger upset, bigger airdrop
Odds are frozen when the match locks. Draw: the pot splits 50/50 and each side uses drop = 1 − p̂draw (or 50% without draw odds). Computed on-chain in integer basis points.
Timeline of a duel
- OpenTrading
Both tokens trade on their bonding curves. Every trade adds 1.5% to the pot. Odds update live.
- LockedKickoff − 10 min
Odds freeze, holders are snapshotted, and 50% of the jackpot drops into the pot.
- ReportedFinal whistle
The keeper posts the result and a second snapshot. A 60-minute dispute window starts.
- FinalPayout
Drop share is airdropped as SOL to winner holders; the rest buys the winner token back and burns it.
- Closed+14 days
The claim window ends. Anything unclaimed rolls into the jackpot.
- VoidAny time before final
Cancelled or no contest — or 72 h without a result. The pot rolls into the jackpot.
min(kickoff, result)
Snapshots are taken at lock and at the result. Your weight is the smaller of the two balances, summed across all your token accounts. Late buys don't count; selling reduces your share. Proofs are published in full so anyone can verify the Merkle tree.
Rolls over, then strikes
Cancelled pots, post-final fees and unclaimed airdrops all flow into the platform jackpot. Every time a duel locks, it pulls 50% of the jackpot into its own pot. Nobody — not even the admin — can withdraw it.
Questions from the stands
Holders of the winning side at lock (kickoff − 10 min). Your weight is the smaller of your balance at lock and your balance at the result. Buying during the match adds nothing; selling reduces your weight. The duel creator, pools and platform wallets are excluded.
Risk disclosure
Rivalis tokens are memecoins with no intrinsic value, no rights and no promise of returns. Prices on bonding curves are highly volatile and can go to zero. Pot payouts depend on real-world results reported by an off-chain keeper and a dispute process; delays, disputes, cancellations and software bugs can affect outcomes. Smart contracts are experimental. Never trade more than you can afford to lose. Using Rivalis may be restricted in your jurisdiction — you are responsible for complying with local laws. Nothing here is financial advice.
